Oops, tinggal 4 minute je for internet to be disconnected.
I'm writing from Heathrow.
Sangatlah buhsan,
Tambahan lagi Heathrow sangatlah burok lagi kurang maju. The departure hall, waiting area and kedai2 makan di sini (hehe banyak plak complain)
Terharu tadi ramai yang hantar naik bus.
15 minutes lagi gate open. Harap hand luggage tak exceed limit.
Ok people. Wish me a safe journey home.
Balik dah tau banyak kerja menunggu. Angah dah warning suruh i help her with wedding prepartaions....
Grrr
Ok bye

omg..omg..omg..ONE day left
This is unbelievable..
Satu hari saje lagi, I will leave England for good...
For the last few days, I've been busy with packing, meeting people for the last time and packing again. 90% are done. But I still can't believe that I am actually leaving. FOR REAL!
I guess, every journey has an end. So is mine this time.
I am very sad to leave. Especially knowing that I will not come back (for studying). Will embark on a new life elsewhere. Am excited, of course, but I guess at the point of leaving something, it is oftenly heartbreaking. I am also feeling quite reluctant to leave and uncertain about my decision at times. But first step to take is to return home, and then only I'm able to judge the situation from a different perspective (although I have constantly reminded myself about the advantage of this, the uncertainty is always there). Grrr..complicated! I'll leave it to God for guidance. Yang penting, my mission here -ACCOMPLISHED!
Beberapa hari lepas pergi berjalan ke London dengan Cik Intan again. Since she will not be in Cambridge today during the leaving party (plus jamuan raya) at Kak Zetty's place, she called me early morning for a quick breakfast somewhere in city centre. So we met in Agora and chit chat and then exchange photos. Banyak sunggoh! ;)
Lunch hour I went out with Gabriela, and for the first time she put her work aside. She said this would be the last time to spend time with me. I was truly touched. (if you know gabriela, you'll understand why. NOTHING comes between her and her lab work). So we went to Grafton centre, and visit almost all the second hand shops there. I cant believe they have so many things. And they are usable. How come I have never bought any of those before. Mesti save a lot! Anyway..will update all about it nextime (I was dying to update on SOOO many things, but time is always the enemy), because today is all about leaving Cambridge...
Sekejap lagi ade makan2 and so at 11am kene gerak ke tempat Kak Ina. Then they will come to my place to pick up some things. Then malam? Tonite will be my last night in this room...Awwww...sangat sedih...Feels like yesterday..Constantly rearranging my room, decorating it, going back and forth to Argos to buy room accessories. Tak sangka nyer...I guess orang yang duduk sini for PhD lagilah tak dapat menerima kenyataan. Hehe. Anyway, I have so many stuffs! Macam dah duduk sini 3 tahun jgk! Haha.. Last night, Xuling came over to say goodbye (the term has ended, so she is going away to Switzerland for few weeks). Being such a simple person, she was even more astonished with my posessions. The room felt homey, but still a lot of stuffs. Eheh
Well anyway...the feeling is undescribable. I will not believe it until I am on the bus to heathrow tomorrow. Hmmmm.....
I will try not to think of what I'm leaving behind, but will start focussing my mind on what I can explore and achieve in the future. Look forward! Forward! Forward!
Okeh, nak sambung kemas2 and then bersiap. I guess this is it. After one loooong (ok, now it feels very short) year, I have to take my life to another level. Happens to everybody right? Life is all about making decisions. Most famous for the tough ones.
So yup...grow up....

Amsterdam Trip 26th - 28th Dec
It was two days before the trip that we finally made up our my minds to go on with this trip. We were supposed to go to Salzburg, but changed the plan last minute. So, Intan checked the flight ticket and accommodation and I print out everything needed to bring there. I even contacted Pakcik Azizi 2 days (or was it a day before that). Hehe We couldn't go there earlier that 26th coz I had an appointment with my supervisor. So, it was indeed a very short trip, but worth it! Anyway....
We were looking for the tourist information centre to find our hotel, but we came accross this instead! How convenient!
After a long search of the hotel, we found it. We asked the local people, and they were nice enough to show us the right way. Btw, the dutch speak good english too, made it easier for us to ask around. After checking in, we ate in one of the kebab shops located 10 minutes from our hotel. Sedappp..but mahal as expected.
It was raining that night, and so we were prepared with umbrellas. We used mine that night as Intan was too lazy to bring out hers. Akan tetapi, payung ku buat aksi marry poppins lah pulak that night. You know when sometimes the wind is too strong and you don't hold your umbrella against the wind, so die jadi terbalik? Ha...that happened a lot that night! Also because my payung sudah cedera tulang belakangnyer. Annoyed with this, Intan suruh I buang je payung tu dalam sungai..So that's what I was trying to do. We slept early that night. Tired and cold from the travelling. Also, still unsure where to go. The next morning would be a busy one.
This is the next morning, the view in front of our hotel - the canal. The only thing that can convince me to migrate to Amsterdam if I can have an appartment facing one of the canals. It's just so lovely..........Hm....
All foggy and cloudy.
Another canal
Canal cruise that we missed ;( Due to limited time, we followed Pakcik Azizi'z advise to take the excursion package in building #26 at Damrak Street (Pakcik, kami ikut arahan satu persatu okeh! Sebab I kan kesesatan selalu). So yup, dengan bantuan cik Intan me-navigate jalan, kami smpai di Damrak Street, paid for the package and off to Vondelpark, Hard Rock Cafe and etc.
Apekah kereta menyeberang trafiic sebegini rupa? That is the tram rail tau. The traffic was the only thing we dislike. Kami jadi terlalu alert di amsterdam. All the time kene ring dengan cyclist. Oh yes, they cycle here too, tapi laju gilos! Bukanlah seperti Cambridge yang tenang lagi selamat. Hehe

Kalau tak amik gambar kat sini takde bukti sampai Amsterdam. Unluckily, it was wet. 300 of wet days in Amsterdam they said.
At 1pm we started the tour starting with a 20minute journey to Volendam, the fishing village. See the cute small houses in Volendam.
Ngan Macik Nelayan yang menunggu suami-suami terchenta pulang dari menangkap ikan

After volendam we went to alida Cheese Farm and proceed to this windmill village. Too many pics to post, so later aje. But I like this picture. Macam sedey jer..hehe
Oh, gambar ni masih menimbulkan rasa kesal. kenapalah aku beli? It was an impulsive purchase, tgk orang seronok beli, haku pun beli je. Bile tgk balik, gambar windmill tu pun separuh je. Costed us 5 euros, tapi takpela..ade calendar for next year. ;)
The excursion ended before 6pm and so we shop for souveniers for a while before meeting Pakcik at KFC around 6pm. Sangat seronok makan KFC halal, it was equally exciting to meet Pakcik. Hehe. Thank belanja kami dinner that night. ;)
And then kami jalan-jalan sambil belajar lagi ke Dam Square where we posed in front of the National Monument. Nak juge statue of naked guys diorang nih, pelik..pelik..
Aik, gambar kecik tibe..
Dibijenkorf Department Store. Equal to Harrods in London they said.
The three kids in Amsterdam. Kids???
Saying goodbyes to Pakcik before we naik ke hotel untuk beristirahat. Thanks to Pakcik Azizi yang rajin melayan kami malam tu. And maap le notice last minute. Ada rezeki kami datang and have a longer trip. It was nice meeting you.
So...tibelah hari Jumaat untuk fly back to London. I was poorly again that morning so was in no mood to dress up and thus the spectacles and purple tudung. We were supposed to wake go arrive the airport at 7am. Instead, we depart from the hotel at 7! Huhu So agak kalut la..Tapi sekali plenty of time before the departure time. Makanya, kami pun duduk kepenatan di airport, tunggu gate bukak.

Last picture with Intan in the airport. Touch down London Stansted Airport. Oh yes, we met another Malaysian girl in Schipol airport tau. Kak Yus nama die. Such a nice sis. Nanti upload muke die. So we sat together in the plane. Overall, it was indeed an exciting trip, walaupun ada ke-demam-an melanda and kerenah macik di check-in counter. Hope we can have another one cik intan..Lap u ;)
Gambar2 lain kalau rajin baru upload
XOXO
At 10.30 we depart from Cambridge to Stansted Airport. I was poorly (this is the English way to say you're unwell, but not severe enough to use the word sick - funny!) that morning, so I did not put any makeup on and only wore my glasses instead of contact lense. By the time we arrive amsterdam, it would be dark anyway. So no one's looking. Hehe

Huhu, inilah kostume wanita Dutch. Check out the wooden
shoes (clogs) and the gouda cheese

Kak Ja, tau dak calon menantu Kak Ja ni aihh...bawak cek pi merata malam tu! Kami tak tanye pun, dia yang offer! Huhu So kamipun pi la membuat lawatan "sambil belajar" ke Daerah Lampu Merah. Menarikkss kawan2...siapa suka belajar subject biology / chemistry memang harus ke sana. Yang suka sociology pun harus melawat. Ngeh ngeh ngeh. But it was one of the most exhilarating experience in Amsterdam. Cik Intan and me were giggling all the way. Memang shocking la, tp I like! They even have a special name for this area - The Dark Side of Amsterdam....Muahahaha
Gambar2 lain kalau rajin baru upload
XOXO
